False Christian teaching may be easy on the ear but it ends up hurting people because it does not warn and exhort people lovingly with truth.
Love is Truth.
Do not be deceived, the gospel of Jesus Christ is very much about the issue of sin. This does not in any way negate God's immeasurable love towards every soul, rather God's love is demonstrated in the fact that Jesus shed His blood on the cross as an atonement for the sins of the whole world and on the third day he resurrected from death thereby triumphing over all the powers of hell which holds the whole world captive because of sin.
This is the full gospel as I know it; That all should repent (be sorry and make a decision to turn away) from sin,
that they should believe that Jesus Christ was who He said He was (the son of God) and that He died and on the third day was resurrected from death and confess this fact verbally,
that they should be baptized, (through water baptism) in the name of Jesus for the remission of their sins,
and afterward receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of Power, Love and a Sound Mind (self control). To be sure, living the Christian life on this earth is not a walk in the park, do not be deceived, there will be difficult times and you would certainly need to resist falling into old patterns and you must walk by faith, however, it is a priceless life empowered by the Holy Spirit, who is always there to keep you, through high and low.
It is life now and a life after.
You will literally experience the continuously transforming and supernatural power of God. This is for real and there is nothing like it.
